A 4-star bomb with slow charging and, unusually amongst bombs, slows your movement down to half-speed while charging. It reminds me of a purple headless cyclops piggy bank.
When it explodes, it creates a purple vortex that lasts a surprisingly long amount of time.
Monsters in the blast radius—including things like lumber ((I still think “treebeasts” is a better name for cursing them with.))—get sucked into the vortex, until it snaps close and deals them shadow damage.
Well. If bombs aren’t magic in Spiral Knights, I don’t know what is.
