I actually was using my Groundbreaker 0* as armor and helmet, with a Wolver as costume, and thus received no sword damage bonuses. This establishes that at depth 7, a Flourish at level 8 will do a raw minimum of 60 and a maximum of 72 damage to non-boss critters weak against piercing. For a 2* sword being slightly nerfed in Tier 1, this is a lot of damage.
Kleptolisks aren’t terribly threatening, except for the bit where they steal all your health pills, leaving you vulnerable to the next dungeon depth, and have a thick enough hide to resist elemental and tone down normal damage. Schlubs, the lot of them.
