It will almost certainly be this one. You know, I’m terrible at predictions. The Pepsi ad is getting a lot of flak for Bob Dylan “selling out” his song, despite the fact that the ad itself is tasteful enough to have been, well, for anything really, and not specifically Pepsi. Coupled with a lot of people over-analyzing the commercial itself (why? I have no idea, since they don’t do it for the other ones) I’m probably one of the loners on judging this one.
Next on down is the Coke insect ad, which orchestrates splendid 3d animation with “Peter and the Wolf”, and then the Hulu.com ad for sheer… sheerness that you don’t see out of older companies. “… and that’s how we roll.”
