Woohoo! Mostly.
ETA: Well, the mania hit in the morning. The mania mixed with depression a few hours later. Then the screaming inside my head whenever I wasn’t completely occupied with things, which also made it hard to start things in the first place. Now it’s all calmed down, but partly it’s due to exhaustion, I think.
Cleaning: I managed to make a dent on the living room junk. Just a dent, but it’s a little bit noticeable. I filled the car trunk all up and zipped over to donate quite a few things, like pots and pans that aren’t induction stove-top compatible, but will make a nice pick-up for people browsing. I even through out the old rice cookers that no longer work (whew), but I need to start crunching down some of the cardboard boxes that litter the area, throw out gluteny and dairy food that’s expired and donate the rest, etc.
All for next weekend.
Cooking: Um. I made pad thai using pad thai sauce from Thai Kitchen? I didn’t make anything else apart from quite a bit of extra rice and some steam-in-the-bag broccoli and cauliflower.
Tomorrow’s bentos will be:
- Breakfast: cereal with slivered almonds, dried cranberries, and almond milk in a separate container;
- Lunch: pad thai, the leftover broccoli/cauliflower
- Snacks: grapes and the last of the kiwi berries
Reading: I continue to read Homeland. The story is strong, even though Drizzt is very much a Gary Stu, complete with lavender eyes (what).
Writing: Made up a NaNoWriMo widget on the right, complete with word count. I managed over 1000 words of character plot line summary, making sure there were intersections between each primary and secondary character’s story through Act I. I have vague ideas for Act II, but we’ll see where we are. I’m nervous about Tuesday; I may not be able to write anything due to oncall, so I’ll need to catch up on the weekend. Le sigh.
