Okay, not the most fun words I’ve ever written in my life. Because the plot just veered into left field.

Here are little snippets.

Beginning of block:

After I had spent half an hour looking for him there, I discovered that V9432 was nowhere to be found in the cybernetics research lab.

End of block:

As I worried my ideas and suspicions to death, I carried out my duties for the Academy, which now consisted of sitting in a room an scanning the person being questioned to see if they were truthful or not, or if they were loyal, or if their words had some other reading behind them.

Graph! Not looking good for hitting 80k by Monday.

This is going to be like Neil Gaiman and that mysterious pool in Odd and the Frost Giants.

I’ll be spending lots of tomorrow thinking.
