Decision: I WILL DO IT

I will finish that book–whatever it takes.

Even if I must hand it in and write past Friday. After 9pm on November 30th, I will not sleep until the book is finished. I am not perfect at pacing myself right now, but I know I’m close enough to do something crazy like that.

You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes
You get what you need

  1. Arachne, sleep is a necessary and vital part of the creative process. Don’t make a vow that could potentially cause you harm. Sleep. Rest. Recharge. Come back to the work refreshed.Just keep moving forward at a steady pace. That’s the name of the game. Not finishing.

  2. That’s true…. my body pretty much told me that yesterday and knocked me out for a good part of the day.I am more refreshed but I’ll probably be napping off the rest of the sick this afternoon.I’m just scared I’ll lose all the discipline I built up over the month. Yeah, when things are back to normal I’ll tone it down to 1000 words a day, but I’m still worried. After all, I pledged 1000 words a day before November, and _Retransmission_ died in the saddle because I was too busy not going through the full process.:worries:
